XL Dorset Hagstone

£12.00

Hag Stones can be any type of stone as long as they have a natural hole running through it and if in your possession, should be considered a sacred object.

They have been known by various names over the centuries such as: Witch Stones, Adder Stones, Hex Stones, Fairy Stones, Holy Stones and Eye Stones. Most can be found in rivers or along the shoreline at beaches, the holes are achieved by running water erosion to ver the years . The reason they are so sacred is because it’s common belief that magick cannot work on moving water, and since the holes in hag stones are made by the sheer force of this element, the stones retain the water’s powerful influence. In short, a hag stone is an amazing protection amulet.

Tie them to anything you would like protected, or leave outside your front door. Tying multiple stones together with some red string will intensify their powers. It is said they will also heal your body, mind, and spirit when a stone is hung over your bed at night.
