A dog like creature with horns reputed to be a familiar seen by Hopkins the self titled Witch Finder whilst interrogating an accused witch, Elizabeth Clarke.
This image featured in A Discovery of Witches, a historical document, originally published in 1647, written by Matthew Hopkins, who was responsible for a significant number of “Witch” executions in England during the 16th century.
Crimson wax infused with seasonal notes of Black cherry, Apple, Cinnamon and Clove, housed in a black 12oz jar with a seal and silk tassel.
