Angelica Root

I have a love for working with roots, the anchor of life which feeds and nourishes. Unseen but ever so vital for existence in a perpetual dark chthonic state.

Angelica Roots are used in protection to ward off malevolent spirits or energies as well as Uncrossing, Hex and Curse breaking. Typically used in charm bags, floor washes, Incense’s and even teas.

Due to the roots often anthropomorphic form I use them as vessels for apotropaic and sympathetic magick.

It has a warm spicy aroma which actually tastes pleasant.

Angelica root has medicinal values too known as “Women’s ginseng” in Southwest Asia and used to treat amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea, menopausal disorders, hypertonia, anemia, and vascular dystonia .
